Extensions are added to the end of a natural dreadlock to add length. To make the extension look as seamless as possible its a good idea to match the colour of the end of your hair to the top of the extension. This way you wont be able to tell where the extension starts as it will blend in nicely. 

Want lighter hair at the ends, that's fine! choose an Ombre or balayage shade making sure the top of the extension colour matches the ends of your natural colour.
